Pollination After Dark: An Educational Talk with Dave Kollen
Monday, September 15, 2025 (5:30 PM - 6:45 PM) (PDT)
Description
Join the Brookings Harbor Garden Club and pollinator expert Dave Kollen to learn all about pollination after dark! We're all familiar with daytime pollinators like bees and butterflies, but there's a whole other world of pollinators that help plant life reproduce once the sun goes down! Dave Kollen will be giving a lively and informative talk on these nocturnal pollinators, their importance in plant reproduction, and how you can promote nocturnal pollination and attract nocturnal pollinators to your own gardens.
Light refreshments will be served, and anyone who wishes to attend the Garden Club's monthly meeting at 5pm before Dave begins his presentation begins is welcome!
