The library is a stop on Brookings' Second Saturday Art Walks! This month, join April’s featured Forest Room gallery and display case artist Lisa Amato for an Art Walk Open House! The library will serve light refreshments between 3:00 and 4:30pm. Lisa will be in attendance all afternoon to greet visitors, answer questions, and talk about her watercolor exhibit in a relaxed environment in the Forest Room Gallery.

Please note, both the library and the Forest Room gallery closes at 5pm on Saturdays.

Interested in showcasing your art in the library’s Forest Room Gallery? If you live and/or make art in Curry or Del Norte County, you can ask for an artist interest form at the library, or you can submit one online at chetcolibrary.org/art. We’re currently seeking artists and artisans for the gallery walls and/or the display case for the months of July, August, September, October and December 2025.
