A free monthly film screening for the community, our Afternoon Indie Film events will frequently feature top film selections from the Wild Rivers Film Festival or films of particular local significance. Screenings are held every first Saturday of the month at the Chetco Library in Brookings.
April's Film Selection: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, directed by Richard Fleischer and edited by the late Brookings resident, filmmaker, and philanthropist Elmo Williams!
About the film: In this beloved classic film, a ship sent to investigate a wave of mysterious sinkings encounters the advanced submarine, the Nautilus, commanded by Captain Nemo.
