Participating Venues:

 Ambiance by the Sea, 530 Hemlock St., 541-254- 3727: The venue features Hope Jones, driftwood art; M.W. Roach, unicorn portraits; and Michael Noonan, intarsia. Desserts and appetizers will be served. 

Brian Scott Gallery, 515 Chetco Ave., brianscottart gallery.com, 541-412-8687: The featured artist of the month is Magdalena Huybreghs who shows her photo- graphy and displays her watercolor paintings. She will be interviewed at 4:30 p.m. The gallery has three floors of art displays, which includes Signatures, a gallery within the gallery. Adam Taylor will provide musical entertainment. Refreshments and wine will be served. 

Chetco Community Public Library, 405 Alder St., chetcolibrary.org, 541-469-7738: The Forest Room gallery displays the watercolors of Lisa Amato. She will be present to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served. Note: The library closes at 5 p.m. FallCrest Designs Art Studio, 615 Chetco Ave., Suite D, 541-251-2175: This gallery features artists Lisa Neher. Billie Ruth Furuichi, and Theresa Herninko. Music performed by Patty Ann DaCunha. Peach cobbler, wine, beer and soda will be served. 

Manley Art Center, 433 Oak St., www.manleyart center.com, 541-469-1807: The gallery will feature the art of Tom Moody who creates using a variety of media. He will be interviewed at 3:30 p.m. Pelican Bay Arts Association members also display their art. Wine and appetizers will be served. 

Whimsical Griffin, 615 Chetco Ave., whimsicalgriffin. com, 949-672-8645: The venue features fantasy art created by shop owner Vincent Chiantelli, as well as crocheted critters by Megan Cabrera of Funni Face Studios, and tile art by David Christie. 

Wild Rivers Film Festival events at Compass Rose Cafe, 555 Chetco Ave., wildriversfilmfestival.com, 541-425-7000: The documentary film "Invisible Enemy* will be shown throughout the afternoon. A question and answer session with Mark Shapiro, director, and Dave Crete, featured in the film, will be at 4 p.m. Light refreshments are available through Compass Rose Cafe.
