Red Cross Blood Drive - Chetco Library

The library is hosting a summer blood drive by the American Red Cross! 

The Chetco Library is proud to sponsor our next blood drive with the American Red Cross on August 27. 

🚨 For only the 2nd time in its history, the Red Cross has declared a national blood crisis. 

Patients may already be impacted. Blood donations have fallen to a 4-year summer low. Donors, especially those with type O blood 🩸, are needed ASAP to help save lives. 

If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Most donations take about an hour, so book your appointment, roll up your sleeve and become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross and the Chetco Community Public Library. 

Save a life this summer—donate blood! IMPORTANT: Walk-ins are always welcome as space allows! But to ensure a smooth event, the Red Cross encourages all donors to make an appointment in advance to donate blood or power red.
