Love and Other Letters: A Community Crafting & Writing Event!

This Valentine’s Day, join us at the library for a drop-in community crafting and writing party! Use supplies from our brand-new Mobile Maker Station to craft a Valentine (or any other greeting card!) for the special folks in your life.

Not feeling crafty? You can grab the latest writing prompt from Oregon Humanities’ Dear Stranger project and a piece of stationery, and write a heartfelt anonymous letter to a fellow Oregonian. Staff will be around if you get writers' block--we're happy to give you some writing prompts if you're feeling stuck!

We’ll lay out light refreshments and hot beverages all day long for crafters and writers to enjoy while they create and connect with one another.
